Kate Watkins
DVM
Dr. Kate Watkins is originally from the Midwest and is thrilled to call Vermont her new home! She received her bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences with honors at Purdue University and stayed on for her veterinary degree, graduating in May 2024. While in school, she explored all areas of veterinary medicine, including work with farm animals, horses, cats, dogs, and even owls!
Dr. Watkins is fear-free certified and enjoys primary care, with special interests in physical rehabilitation, pain management, and senior animal care. She enjoys building relationships with pets and their people, creating a treatment plan tailored to each family.
Outside of work, she can be found hiking, skiing, or taking an art class. Dr. Watkins has a senior Border Collie mix, Finnegan, who joins her for adventures in the Green Mountains.
